Polaro (Digital currency mining)

Status: Active
Category: Digital

The Polaro project was established in 2010 and initially operated under the name of North Kala Goods, which was changed to Polaro due to a change in services and strategy.
Before the changes, it was used to create links to sell physical products, digital products such as books and education, as well as to sell services, and links created by individuals or businesses would be made available to their customers if the customers successfully placed an order.
then, a percentage of it was given as a deduction service and the rest of the amount was given to the goods seller.

At that time, this system and structure became very popular and many people and businesses from different countries started using this system to sell products and services, because in those years a very large percentage of businesses did not have a website.
It was the middle of 2010 when we decided to add the digital currency mining part to this system and after a year in April 2011 we unveiled this system.

The interesting thing here was that although mining was very easy in the beginning and mining could easily be done with the CPU of any computer or laptop, very few people showed interest.
After some time, we found out that the first mining machine called GPU was made that people who have this mining machine can mine more bitcoins in a certain time than people who use CPU.
This case was very interesting for us and we tried more and started researching and studying about Bitcoin and Blockchain.
Then we were doing research and trial and error until 2014, during this time FPGA and ASIC devices were built, which was one of the big and positive events for Bitcoin mining.
ASIC used to mine Bitcoin using the SHA256 pattern, over time other cryptocurrencies such as BCH and other cryptocurrencies have based their patterns on this (SHA256).
It was at the end of 2014 that we were able to reduce energy consumption by 5% and we made a product for mining in Polaro so that other people can use this product for mining.
It was in 2016 that we were able to reduce energy consumption by 16% and this was a great achievement for us.

You can see the things we used to reduce energy consumption below:

  • 1- Before using SHA256, we use two helper algorithms (SP-SP8).
  • 2- Placing a main server (leader).
  • 3- Distribution of energy consumption with the main server and operating system or user server.
  • 4-Construction of pool (by changing the type of search for the next block according to the hashrate of the user's operating system or server).

  • SP

The SP algorithm is used before SP5.
    Features that make SP special:
  • 1-Reducing energy consumption for Bitcoin mining.
  • 2- Quick access to the previous hash block.
  • 3- Choosing a better nonce number according to the hash rate of the previous block.

    SP5

The SP5 algorithm has 5 functions and is used before SHA256.
Part of this algorithm is simulated from X11, but SP5 has some very special differences that you can see below.
The X11 algorithm was created in 2014, and due to its lack of compatibility with ASIC, it was used less after a while and became unusable over time.

    SP5 differences compared to X11:
  • 1-Compatibility with ASIC.
  • 2- Using 5 functions.
  • 3-Less complexity.
  • 4- Use before SHA256.

  • Features that make SP5 special:
  • 1-Reducing energy consumption for Bitcoin mining.
  • 2- Faster finding for a number smaller than the difficulty level of the network.
  • 3-Checking the nonce number sent by the SP algorithm.
  • 4- Changing the method of sending the header.

  • Finally, the SP and SP5 algorithms together reduce the energy consumption by 21%.

After unveiling and starting to inform about this product and system, we received the attention of many people, most of the old users as well as new users of Polaro went to the mining system, so we decided to focus more on the Polaro mining system.
